This Campaign is organized in accordance with the legal provisions governing marketing campaigns and in accordance with the GDPR Regulation. This Campaign is intended to promote Roof tile Group products marketed under the Metrotile brand (“Products”) through various marketing and communication materials, emails, etc., and sent by Metrotile UK LTD to the participants deciding for the replacement of the roofing / new roofing and thus becoming eligible to participate in the draw for a 50% discount, with the quoted project being offered a guaranteed additional 5% discount on their quote under the following terms and conditions.
2. OFFICIAL RULES. AMENDMENTS Information regarding participation and conditions of participation are part of these Official Rules (“Official Rules“), which are publicly available free of charge on the website Metrotile.co.uk (“Website“). The compliance with these Official Rules is mandatory for all participants. By accessing the “WIN 50% OFF YOUR NEXT ROOFING PROJECT“, the participant expressly confirms, agrees and declares that s/he has read, understood and that s/he will act in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. Metrotile UK LTD reserves the right to occasionally supplement and / or change the Official Rules. Any amendments to these Official Rules will be published on the Website, of which participants will be notified by e-mail. Metrotile UK LTD assume no responsibility for participants who confirm such changes as long as they are published on the website.
3. DURATION The sales campaign “WIN 50% OFF YOUR NEXT ROOFING PROJECT” takes place from 16/6/25 to 16/7/25. We will draw one winner on 11/08/2025.
4. ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE This Campaign is intended for any real estate (residential, office, retail or otherwise), which is located in the United Kingdom. The real estate that meets this condition is hereinafter referred to as the “Project“. The “Project” must be related to an upcoming or ongoing building project. “Projects” submitted in the campaign for stock orders of Metrotile goods will not be valid. The “Project” must be for products in the standard Metrotile UK range. The double-thick steel .900 tiles, eQube Solar Tile, iPanel, Oberon and specialized associated accessories are invalid for application of the additional discount or prize win. The following additional conditions must be met in order to participate in the Campaign: – potential future final customers are the owners, co-owners or future owners of the Project, or live at the address of the Project, regardless of whether they are natural or legal persons (“Participant“); – Participant is a roofer/ installer who is undertaking the installation of the “Project“. – Only individuals who are of legal age in their country of residence on the day of joining the campaign may participate as participants in the Campaign; – Participants (individual or legal person) can register in the campaign only once. – The participant who registers in the campaign must submit all mandatory and/or required data and must consent to the collection and processing of personal and other data throughout the campaign. Once the discount voucher is awarded, the participant cannot revoke his/her consent to the processing of personal or other data necessary for the implementation of the Campaign.
5. HOW I CAN PARTICIPATE To participate in this “WIN 50% OFF YOUR NEXT ROOFING PROJECT” Campaign, the visitor must visit the landing page created for this purpose, accessed by clicking on a campaign advertisement, or the Metrotile UK LTD Facebook page where visitors will find the registration form created for this purpose. The visitor must then complete the required personal and other information on the registration form of the campaign landing page or on Facebook form, accept this document with the rules of the Campaign, and finally submit the request. Participants will be contacted by the Metrotile UK LTD sales team via telephone or email to gather the necessary project information required to provide a free estimation for their project, with the additional 5% discount applied as per the campaign’s rules. Participants will be provided with a quotation via email and will be required to note/ remember the quotation number provided as a reference for the Metrotile UK sales team should the participant have any questions or amendments to make. The participants of the Campaign are not required to pay any payment or other contribution for participation in the Campaign (including the payment of personal income tax due to the receipt of a discount voucher). Participants are free to decide how long they will participate in the Campaign. Any participant who wishes to proceed with ordering their project for this campaign is required to make payment in full, upfront, regardless of if said participant has an existing trade account with Metrotile UK LTD. The participant who receives a discount voucher is free to use this voucher for the time of its validity, which is until 11/09/25. The discount voucher cannot be returned and is not transferable (it can be used by the selected Participant, the winner only).
6. CAMPAIGN MECHANISM The draw will be made using an appropriate computer program called “random.org”. The draw will take place on: 11/08/25, at 11.00am in the premises of Metrotil UK LTD. The jury will sign the minutes of the draw process and the selected participant. If any member of the jury has justified objections to the draw, the jury may decide to repeat the draw. The selected participant will be notified of the result of the draw (selection and obtaining of a discount voucher) via e-mail within 5 (five) working days from the draw. The selected participant will be published on the website and via Facebook profile Metrotile UK LTD, where the full name of the selected participant will be publicly announced. The selected participant will be asked to show her/his identity document and to confirm receipt of the discount voucher. For this purpose, if the selected participant is a legal person, the discount voucher will be given to its representative, whose contact details must be communicated to Metrotile UK LTD no later than 5 (five) working days from the date of publication of the results of the relevant Campaign. The organizer of the campaign is not responsible for any delay in giving the voucher for the discount, which is the consequence of non-transmission of contact information regarding the selected representative of the legal person by the legal person. Participants have the right to freely ask roofers / authorized dealers for more offers regarding their future Metrotile roofing without any obligation to purchase the products. For the avoidance of any doubt, the participants and/or selected participants (who received the discount voucher) are not obliged to purchase the products.
7. DISCOUNT REFUND VOUCHER The discount voucher to be offered as part of the campaign to the selected participant represents a 50% discount on the purchased Metrotile UK roofing (but in no case more than £1,500.00 including VAT), if the roofing was purchased (contract signed) after the start of the campaign and until 10/08/25 at the latest, in which case a voucher for the return of the discount is awarded to the selected participant. The voucher covers the cost of purchasing a roof up to a maximum amount of £1,500.00 including VAT incurred in connection with the purchase of Metrotile UK LTD roofing (including roof tiles and Metrotile UK accessories, but does not include installation costs and other costs incurred during or in connection with roof installation). If the purchase price has been paid in full, the selected participant should submit an invoice, an appropriate proof of payment and a discount voucher to Metrotile UK LTD (address published on the website). Metrotile UK LTD (or a related person) will refund the value of the discount to the bank account of the selected participant no later than 30 (thirty) working days after receipt of the necessary documents and the bank account number provided by the participant. The voucher is valid until 11/09/2025. The voucher cannot be returned and is not transferable (it can only be used by the selected participant). There is no substitute for the refund voucher, it is not transferable and no part or parts can be replaced with money, other benefits, items or accessories; the voucher is only valid for the “project” that was submitted as part of this campaign. Metrotile UK LTD reserves the right to change at any time the value of the discount, which is effective from the first day of the following month. Participants are notified of such a change via the website and email. The organizer of the campaign is not responsible for any error and / or omission related to personal details provided by the participant or in case the selected participant cannot be contacted due to such error / omission. In case of inability to deliver the discount voucher to the selected participant within a reasonable time [or] within 30 days after the end of the Campaign due to the stated errors of the participant concerned (inability to contact due to own error / omission, rejection of the discount voucher, other violations of these Official Rules), the selected participant is considered to be revoked and will lose any right to the corresponding discount voucher. In such a case, Metrotile UK LTD may decide to select two selected participants in the next draw. No claims regarding the discount voucher submitted after the signing of the delivery minutes will be subject to review by the organizers of the Campaign.
8. DATA PROTECTION For the purpose of the Campaign and / or direct marketing, the collected personal data will be processed by Metrotile UK LTD as a personal data controller. Other contractual processors may be involved for the purpose of carrying out the purpose of the Campaign and / or direct marketing. For the purpose of carrying out the Campaign and / or direct marketing and related obtaining of personal data via the contact form on the social network Facebook owned by Facebook Inc., Menlo Park, California, the data will be obtained, collected and processed by the company Metrotile UK LTD. For the purpose of the Campaign and / or direct marketing, the participant’s personal data may have to be transferred, as part of the contractual processing of personal data, to other third parties, including abroad within the EU / EEA; by agreeing to enter the Campaign and / or direct marketing, the participant agrees to such transfer of personal data. Such transfer will ensure an adequate level of data protection.Metrotile UK LTD will at all times endeavor to protect the security and privacy of any data you provide or allow transmission by joining the Campaign. Nevertheless, due to the very nature of the internet Metrotile UK LTD cannot guarantee that publicly available data will not be improperly accessed or used by third parties.
As part of the Campaign, we will collect data on the website via an online form in accordance with the GDPR regulation (the form contains fields where individual consents are given). By agreeing to participate in the Campaign, each Participant understands and expressly agrees under Article 6/1 (b) of the GDPR Regulation that: • the following personal data will be processed: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, full address and the details of their planned “Project”. • the collected data will be used to prepare and provide additional information, technical support or to serve as intermediary in the preparation of the requested offer. • personal data will be used to inform about the progress of the campaign via e-mails; By agreeing to use the data for direct marketing purposes, each Participant understands and expressly agrees under Article 6/1 (a) of the GDPR Regulation that: • The data collected will be used for direct marketing services, such as notifications about the course of the campaign or promotions. The following means of communication will be used for communication: o online marketing (account notifications)o e-mail marketingo Mobile marketing (SMS and MMS to phone number)o telemarketing (phone calls) Participants will be contacted by telephone and email by our sales team to gather further details required in order to provide a free estimation of all required goods for their “project”.
Participant’s rights: • the participant has the right to request acquaintance with his / her own personal data, or under certain conditions, s/he can also require the correction, restriction of processing or deletion of his/her illegally processed data (Articles 15 to 18 of the GDPR Regulation). Such rights may be exercised by the Participant by sending us a written request for this purpose by post or by e-mail to the address of the controller. The participant who considers that his or her personal data is being processed unlawfully may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner, as well as the right to assert the protection of his or her rights in court; • the provision of personal data of a participant is voluntary, but essential for entering the Campaign (revocation of consent or request for deletion of certain data leads to cancellation of participation in the Campaign). The Participant may at any time revoke consent to the processing of data for the purpose of direct marketing by submitting an appropriate revocation statement via an online form or by e-mail to the controller; • personal data managed and processed for the purpose of this Campaign may be managed and processed only to the extent and time necessary to fulfill the purpose of the Campaign. Personal data will be processed for marketing and other similar purposes also after the expiration of the Campaign, provided that the Participant’s consent is not withdrawn. 9. DISCLAIMER All information provided by the participant of the Campaign will be used legally, in good faith and such use will not be to their detriment or detriment of real estate. Notwithstanding the above, neither Metrotile UK LTD, nor its representatives, employees, agents, or other duly authorized persons can fully control the manner in which such details are used by the public and, consequently, the Organizer of the Campaign, its representatives, employees, agents and other duly authorized persons cannot be held liable for any unlawful use by a third party in respect of the details set out above. No liability or obligation is assumed by Metrotile UK LTD for technical problems or technical malfunction in connection with any of the following events that may affect the implementation of the Campaign: hardware or software errors; defective computer, telephone, cable, satellite network, electronic, wireless or internet connection or other problems with internet communication; errors or limitations regarding any Internet service provider, servers, hosting; distorted, packaged or defective data transmission; errors regarding the transmission of e-mails (received / sent); unavailability of the website, in part or in full for any reason; traffic congestion on the Internet or on the website; unauthorized human or non-human intervention in the conduct of the Campaign, including without limitation, unauthorized interference, intrusion into a computer system, theft, virus, or bugs. From the point of purchase of a participants project, Metrotile UK LTD’s standard T&C’s will take affect which will be sent with the order confirmation and can be found on the Metrotile UK LTD website. Metrotile UK LTD use external haulers for delivery and are not liable for any delays to deliveries of goods or any potential damage to property caused by the hauler. Metrotile UK LTD are a supply only firm and are also not liable for damages to products or property caused when installing Metrotile goods. For “Project” quotations provided, the free estimation is never a guarantee of exact quantities; therefore Metrotile UK LTD are not liable for any excess or shortage of required goods. Participants can freely request for quotations to be amended as per their request. The Organizer of the Campaign is not responsible in the event that the scheduled draw is canceled due to weather, fire, strike, war or terrorism, or any other condition beyond their control.
10. DISPUTES Any dispute regarding the terms and conditions of this Campaign must be submitted to the attention of Metrotile UK LTD, using the following contact details:Metrotile UK LTD, Unit 3 Sheldon Business Park, Chippenham SN14 0RQ, e-mail: pr@metrotile.co.uk. Any dispute relating to the outcome of the Campaign must be submitted to the Organizer within 2 (two) working days after the publication of the results, by using the contact details as set out above. Both Metrotile UK LTD will use their best endeavors to resolve any dispute amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute will be submitted for resolution to the competent court. Where a jurisdiction agreement is admissible, the dispute must be brought before a court having jurisdiction over the registered office of IKO Metals Europe NV (Brussels, Belgium).
