So when four 6-storey purpose built blocks of flats required rooftop refurbishments, Riverside decided to use Metrotile’s classic Bond profile, in Charcoal. Prior to the refurbishment, the buildings had a competitor’s Lightweight Steel Roofing System that had reached the end of its life. By replacing the profiles with a Metrotile System, Riverside know that the rooftops are guaranteed weatherproof for 40 years, beating our nearest competitor’s guarantee by a significant ten-year margin.

Once the low pitch rooftops were swiftly installed with approximately 3000 profiles the aesthetic benefits were obvious,

instantly rejuvenating the area. Riverside Housing Association will also benefit from the virtually zero maintenance required by the Metrotile roofs as they adorn the top of the Middleton blocks for many, many years to come.
